Throwback Thursday!

Throwback Thursday. Some of my many childhood dolls that got me obsessed with collecting. Many of my other Disney dolls didn't make it through my kid years. Headless, clothes-less, not so in-style haircuts from dull scissors...I'm sure you get the idea.

 

Some Sanding!

A bit of sanding on her face and upper body. I think I may have sanded off her eyelids, so...She looks more alien-like today.

 

All of the Pieces are Coming Along!

 

It started off with just this small amount of pieces lying about on my art box...Not much like the doll I was hoping for. I haven't worked on her in MONTHS!

 But when I added the ball-joint to her abdomen, it started to look more like the doll I had pictured in my mind!

 Then came the most difficult part -- the face. I had an awful head that I had sculpted, and I hated it. But it's funny how just a bit of work and time with the face could change my mind about the head, though.

 Posing like the odd girl that she is....

 Now for the arms!
